Biography focused on the figure of the intellectual and politician of the town of Figueres (Alt Empordà) Jaume Miravitlles. The approach to the environment and the gestation of the character with which the work begins, gives way to a long life and professional career of Miravitlles: training and Catalanist militancy in the early 1920s in Barcelona; the exile in Paris and the contact with the culture of vanguards and surrealism; Marxist formation and Communist militancy; outstanding leadership in Esquerra Republicana de Catalunya, and finally, an enormous task at the head of the Propaganda Commission of the Government of the Generalitat during the years of the Civil War. The work presents theoretical frameworks for each chapter, with a large number of citations and bibliographical references, based on oral and documentary backgrounds and periodicals of the period.
