Imatge & Poesia. Les poètiques de la modernitat

This book shows us the symbiosis between poetry and plastic arts in Catalonia from the Renaixença (19th century Renaissance) to the first avant-gardes, based on books, magazines, manuscripts, paintings, engravings, posters and original drawings by artists such as Casas, Rusiñol, Utrillo, Nonell , Miró, Dalí and García Lorca, among others. Among the poets are the most prominent names in modern Catalan literature, from Jacint Verdaguer and Joan Maragall to Josep Carner, Joan Salvat-Papasseit and Pere Quart.
