NO EXIT, The Costa Brava from north to south on tourist cruises

In August of 2019 Àlex Nogué (a visual artist), Jordi Puig (photographer) and Víctor Sunyol (writer) went along the Costa Brava from Cap de Creus to Blanes, linking up with the routes taken by tourist boats and living like tourists in hotels and villages. In this atmosphere, which they found strange and apparently unpropitious for creative work, each of them 'did' that which the situation and the moment asked of them, without any pre-planned project and with no aims other than the activity itself. This experience made them face up to a series of questions and mirror images as far as creativity was concerned and as regarded tourism and the prejudices with which it is often met. The results, which are heterogeneous, are united by a shared experience and above all by the idea, seen in hindsight, that that whole world is a 'lost paradise'.
