Born in Badalona in 1952 and died in La Roca del Vallès in 2013, he is one of the essential artists to understand the evolution of the contemporary art of the democratic period in Spain. His free, independent and provocative spirit preserves the freshness of the early years of post-Franquism. With a imaginative and personal pictorial language, he was kept apart from the conceptual art, adding to the return to painting that was lived in Europe in the eighties and that is known as the new european figuration.
