Pep Ventura. Abans del mite. Quan la sardana era un ball de moda.

Between the months of August and November 2009, the temporary exhibition "Pep Ventura before the myth: when the sardana was a fashionable dance", curated by Anna Costal, could be visited at the Empordà de Figueres Museum. The exhibition offered a renewed vision of the Empordà musician, placing it in the context of his time, when Italian opera companies performed in the theater of the city, young republicans danced revolutionary sardanas and choral societies gave voice to the working class. The catalog includes articles by Jaume Ayats, Francesc Cortés, Anna Costal, Pere Gabriel, Joan-Lluís Marfany, Josep Playà and Aurélie Vialette.
