La fageda d’en Joan.

Pep Sau, passionate about landscape and architecture, gives us the opportunity to look and think, or perhaps rethink, in a more human and probably more complex way, this unique and well-known environment of La Garrotxa : La Fageda d'en Jordа. Exalted by poets and painted and drawn by artists, it is a landscape that today seems to stall us to domesticate, order, to depersonalize. A place that surprisingly hides and welcomes an indomitable and free soul, in Joan, a man who lives, as Albert Tarrès tells us, between remnants of life and remnants of memory. A presence surely uncomfortable for some but respected by many others. A man who lives alone, not isolated, in close connection with nature and his painting.
