Why Shoes? Xavier G-Solís. Retrospective.

Catalog of the retrospective by Xavier G-Solís at the Musée international de la chaussure de Romans in 2015. Why Shoes? explores the concept of shoe as an universal symbol of the relationships between humans and the world. In the line of the objet trouvé of Marcel Duchamp, transforms shoes used in new conceptual objects (zapacoches o shoecars, saveles o floating shoes or engraved shoes) and in installations with a scenographic and plastic content, but also poetic, playful and always critical.
